Royal Salute unveils exclusive 21yo Beach Polo Edition

Pernod Ricard Travel Retail has launched Royal Salute 21yo Beach Polo Edition, the latest addition to the Scotch whisky brand’s Polo Collection.

The limited-edition Beach Polo was presented as an initial travel retail exclusive in selected Asian airports on 1 July. The whisky featured in promotions with top travel retailers including Lotte Duty Free and The Shilla Duty Free. It will be available to other selected retailers in travel retail and domestic markets globally from September for a limited time.

The new expression, which follows last year’s launch of the Polo Edition, takes inspiration from the sport of beach polo.

Like its predecessor, the Beach Polo Edition is endorsed by Royal Salute World Polo Ambassador and former captain of the England Polo Team Malcolm Borwick, whose signature and red helmet feature on the packaging. The porcelain flagon is coloured deep blue to evoke beach polo tournaments, blue skies and the sea.

The edition has been crafted by Royal Salute Director of Blending Sandy Hyslop. It offers a smoky flavour with peaty tones including fruits and honey.

Royal Salute 21yo Beach Polo Edition has featured in promotions with Lotte Duty Free (above) and The Shilla Duty Free (below) since July.
