Sarajevo International Airport partners with Gebr. Heinemann for walk-through duty-free store

The 569sq m walk-through duty free store, operated in partnership with Gebr. Heinemann, was designed to deliver a modern and immersive shopping environment with an expanded offer

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA. Sarajevo International Airport has opened a renovated walk-through duty free shop with long-term retail partner Gebr. Heinemann.

The 569sq m retail space, located airside on the first floor of the terminal, has been redesigned to elevate the passenger shopping experience with an expanded product offer and enhanced layout.

A dedicated niche perfume corner is a standout element and showcases premium brands including Xerjoff, Parfums de Marly, Kilian and Ajmal

The store was developed in collaboration with a European architectural studio specialising in duty-free design. The walk-through format guides passengers through key zones, maximising exposure to the full product mix and encouraging engagement throughout the journey to the gate.

It introduces a broader brand portfolio across multiple categories including tobacco, wines & spirits, perfumes & cosmetics, leathergoods, toys, confectionery and souvenirs.

A key highlight is a niche fragrance area, which features leading houses including Xerjoff, Parfums de Marly, Kilian and Ajmal.
