SkyBuys app partners Lagardère AWPL to list New Zealand airport duty free products

NEW ZEALAND. The full duty free and travel retail inventory from Lagardère AWPL operations at three leading New Zealand airports is now available to passengers through a single app, developed by Australia’s SkyBuys.

Following news that Lagardère AWPL will in September become the sole duty free operator at Auckland, SkyBuys has launched Aelia Duty Free’s inventory for Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown airports on the app.

SkyBuys offers international passengers access to products from multiple duty free and travel retailers through its app. The app can be used prior to travelling or at any stage during thee journey, allowing passengers to collect their goods when and where they want without having to handle them beforehand.

SkyBuys CEO Alec Kemmery said innovation and the digital transformation across the travel industry is recognised as essential to help retailers speak to the new wave of savvy travelling consumers.
