Smashbox Cosmetics has unveiled its new Full Exposure Palette for eyes. It will be available in selected travel retail doors worldwide from January 2014.
The set aims to help consumers enhance their eye shape. It contains 14 neutral shades – including shimmers and mattes – which allow consumers to turn up or tone down the lustre, according to the brand.

The palette also includes a colour-coded double-ended brush: the fluffy end is designed to blend mattes; the flat side to lay down shimmer without sparkle overload.
The set comes complete with an eye shape chart created after nine years of research by Smashbox’s R&D team, who looked at more than 5,000 eyes and identified six key shapes.
In addition, the launch of Smashbox’s Full Exposure Palette is being supported by ‘how-to’ videos (see below) from the brand’s Global Pro Lead Artist Lori Taylor Davis.

“A great make-up artist has to know what works for different eye shapes,” she explained. “I’ve seen every shape imaginable, so I always need a palette that works on all of them. This is my latest obsession – it’s ultra-flattering for everyone.”
“During a shoot, it’s essential to create defined eyes that stand out in a photo – this palette does just that,” added Smashbox Founder and Celebrity Photographer Davis Factor. “It was developed to enhance every eye shape out there.”
