
MALAYSIA. Travel hospitality specialist Plaza Premium Group has opened its latest dining venture, The Summerhouse, in Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1.
The restaurant is in the Satellite Terminal, close to the departing gates for international long-haul flights, offering travellers a convenient spot to dine and relax pre-boarding.

Its interiors take inspiration from lush rainforests, offering passengers a tropical getaway from the airport’s hustle and bustle.
The Summerhouse offers an artisanal menu inspired by global culinary trends, embracing a contemporary approach to classic Western cuisine.

Plaza Premium Group noted: “Passengers are invited to experience a harmonious fusion of flavours, textures and aromas that celebrate the spirit of the tropics.
“From its signature Australian Beef Stew with Pomme Purée to delectable mains and indulgent desserts, each dish is made with the freshest and finest ingredients.”
The Summerhouse also features a bar offering artisanal coffee brewed from local coffee beans, premium tea, cold-pressed juices and a line-up of handcrafted coolers.
This opening strengthens Plaza Premium Group’s presence at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
The restaurant joins Plaza Premium First, Plaza Premium Lounge and the group’s other airport dining brands, including Flight Club Signature and Flight Club Grab‘n’Go. Another Flight Club is scheduled to open in late April. ✈
