NORTH AMERICA. Stellar Partners has appointed Jill Myers as a senior advisor on airport retail RFP opportunities, as well as concept planning and design.
Stellar Partners operates 38 convenience and speciality retail stores in ten airports in the USA. In August 2016 its acquisition by Autogrill division HMSHost was announced.
The company said it was aiming to grow further in the airport retail space and would also create a new business development position to help achieve this. An appointment will be announced soon.
Myers has nearly 30 years of related experience in operations, business development and real estate.
She most recently served as Senior Director of Retail Concept Development, Leasing & Partnerships with World Duty Free Group. There she was responsible for airport contracts in eastern USA, for which she developed and maintained airport client and industry relationships; led proposal development; and negotiated leases to include brand, subtenant, and Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprises agreements.
Before that role, Myers was General Manager of Business Development for HMSHost’s retail business for eight years.
