SAUDI ARABIA. Swarovski has opened a monobrand boutique at King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah, in partnership with JAH Arabia International Duty Free (the joint venture between Gebr. Heinemann Germany, Astra Group and Jordan Duty Free).

In September, JAH Arabia International Duty Free formally launched Jeddah Duty Free at the Jeddah gateway.

The retail offer spans approximately 11,500sq m across Terminal 1 and the North Terminal.

The boutique reflects Swarovski’s distinctive design ethos of ‘Joyful extravagance’ and features a bright-blue colour palette and playful octagonal motifs.

According to the partners, the opening underscores the partners’ shared commitment to elevate the luxury shopping experience at the key regional hub.

Importantly, the store introduces Swarovski Created Diamonds to travel retail. Swarovski Created Diamonds is the crystal house’s lab-grown diamonds collection.

Central to the debut is the Octagon Collection; a range designed by Swarovski Global Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert. The line presents a modern and playful reinterpretation of classic diamond design.

Beyond fine jewellery, the boutique showcases the wider universe of Swarovski’s signature collections across accessories, watches, home décor and gifting, including hero crystal families such as Millenia and Matrix.

JAH Arabia International Duty Free CEO Simon Forde commented: “Jeddah Duty Free is really excited to be the first airport in Saudi Arabia to showcase the Swarovski Created Diamonds Collection as part of the Grand Opening this summer. The Swarovski boutique will offer our passengers the chance to shine a little brighter as they fly a little higher.”

Alongside fine jewellery, the boutique offers a wide selection of Swarovski’s signature families including Millenia and Matrix

“This opening at Jeddah Airport is a key milestone made possible through our strong partnership with JAH Arabia International Duty Free,” commented Swarovski Head of Travel Retail Andreea Marginean.

“Together, we are proud to bring to life a Swarovski boutique that not only elevates our retail presence but also marks the introduction of Swarovski Created Diamonds in travel retail in the region.

“This joint achievement reflects our shared vision to lead with innovation and offer travellers access to a new dimension of pop luxury.”
