Wellbeing company Rituals Cosmetics has relaunched The Ritual of Ayurveda line, the first classic collection to be completely reformulated with a minimum of 90% natural origin ingredients.
The refreshed line, including two new products, is now available in Rituals’ standalone travel retail stores.
The refreshed Ritual of Ayurveda line offers enhanced formulas for the Foaming Shower Gel, Bath Foam, Natural Dry Oil for Body & Hair, Body Cream, Body Scrub and Hair & Body Mist.
The line has been extended with two new products, The Rich Body Oil and Coconut Milk Bath. The Rich Body Oil is made with three Ayurvedic oils known for their nourishing benefits: coconut oil, sweet almond oil and moringa oil. Made with 97% natural-origin ingredients, the rich oil offers deep and intense hydration that keeps the skin soft and nourished.
The Coconut Milk Bath was inspired by traditional Ayurvedic milk baths, which have been known to cleanse the body and calm the senses.
Blending coconut milk extract, rose extract and plant oils, the Coconut Milk Bath turns bath water into a cloud-like liquid that leaves the skin smooth and refreshed. The Milk Bath formula is made with 99% natural origin ingredients.
The Ritual of Ayurveda range was inspired by the 5,000 year-old Indian concept of Ayurveda which helps improve health and wellbeing by cleansing and nourishing the ‘doshas’ or unique energy patterns of each person.
The relaunched collection underlines Rituals’ commitment to become a more sustainable brand through the use of more natural ingredients, sustainable packaging and zero waste production.
All products contain a highly natural formula in line with the company’s ‘Clean and Conscious’ strategy, which aims to transition all Rituals products to 90% natural origin ingredients by 2023.
In addition, the line’s product packaging has been enhanced to help meet the company’s goal to be zero waste by 2025.
