The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie is the first of our team to arrive in Cannes. Our Interim Cannes Bureau, home to Martin and company President Dermot Davitt for the week, is in Rue Hoche, just a Pétanque boule’s throw away from the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. Something tells us what may be on the breakfast menu this week for the Kiwi-Irish Bagel boys of travel retail.
Adjacencies matter in travel retail and so we’ve set up shop next to Monalisa Moda, the same initials as our Founder to help him find his way home at night
And just like the original Monal Lisa, Martin Moodie had a smile on his face yesterday. As always, he has a lot of serious business to deal with in Cannes. And it doesn’t get any more serious than watching the All Blacks vs the Wallabies (courtesy of WePurple Managing Partner Alex Cook’s laptop to TV feed).
As always, we like to get our numbers right
