TAIWAN. EVERRICH Duty Free is today celebrating its 30th anniversary, a landmark occasion for a company that has grown from a small start-up into one of Asia’s and the world’s premier travel retailers.
To honour the occasion, The Moodie Davitt Report today proudly publishes an anniversary book (in print and digital format), accompanied by a recently launched video (with Chinese and English subtitles).
The film was shot on location at Taoyuan International Airport by Moodie Davitt STUDIO*, and written and presented by The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie.
Both publications have been released today (12 November) to Ever Rich Duty Free guests, local partners and employees at the retailer’s annual ESG event.
The book – produced in Chinese and English – chronicles the company’s remarkable three-decade journey.
More importantly perhaps, it reaches deep into the EVERRICH DNA, examining how the company has carved out a unique reputation for championing and showcasing Taiwan’s artistic, cultural, commercial, environmental and intellectual capital.

The EVERRICH story is also about what the company contributes to Taiwanese society at all levels. From protecting and nurturing the environment to looking after the ill, the needy, the dispossessed; from assisting the victims of natural disasters to promoting the young, the talented, the overlooked. – Martin Moodie

‘Innovating Within’, the pithy epithet which EVERRICH has chosen for its landmark anniversary, embraces the concept of an ever-evolving vision underpinned by the values that have served the company so well to date.

In conversation with EVERRICH Duty Free President Kevin Chiang, Moodie explores those values, while the film, beautifully shot and edited by Shenzhen-based filmmaker Alexander Roux, also showcases the unique, multi-faceted aspects of the company’s airport business, from themed gate rooms to specialist retail and Taiwanese-oriented food & beverage.
Both film and book highlight, however, that the EVERRICH story is not confined to the retailer’s stores, services and restaurants. At the heart of the narrative is how the company contributes to Taiwanese society at all levels.
From protecting and nurturing the environment to looking after the ill, the needy, the dispossessed; and from assisting the victims of natural disasters to promoting the young, the talented and the overlooked.
We hope you enjoy this compelling dual production from The Moodie Davitt Report and Moodie Davitt STUDIO. ✈
