Travel Blue accelerates China expansion with shop-in-shop at Shanghai Pudong Airport

Enhancing Shanghai Pudong Airport’s diverse retail portfolio, the store delivers convenient access to travel essentials

CHINA. Travel Blue has extended its China travel retail footprint with a shop-in-shop at Shanghai Pudong Airport Terminal 2, in partnership with Tao Qing Yue.

The opening taps into growing traffic at the world’s sixth-busiest airport, which recorded nearly 85 million passengers in 2025.

The shop combines Travel Blue essentials with airport-exclusive items, such as neck pillows showcasing Chinese motifs

The 35sq m shop-in-shop is Travel Blue’s largest yet, showcasing a wide range of travel accessories. These include travel and kids’ pillows, earphones, adaptors, chargers, carry-on luggage, backpacks, water bottles and the new Memory Collections range.

Designed around Travel Blue’s global concept and its mantra, ‘To travel is to live’, the store showcases a large shop window, bold graphics and visuals to capture travellers’ attention.

Tao Qing Yue said, “We are delighted to launch our partnership with Travel Blue, a leading global brand and strong performer in the Chinese market which offers a huge range of functional, good-quality and good-value accessories that perfectly meets travellers’ needs.”

The opening adds to Travel Blue’s expanding China network, with presence at more than 50 airports.
