Cutting-edge technology creator, CEH Technologies has launched its CLIK S live translation earbuds in travel retail, under the MyManu brand.
Invented by CEH Founder Danny Manu, CLIK S features a pair of high-definition sound, wireless Bluetooth earbuds. They are sweat-proof and rechargeable, with 30 hours battery life and offer automatic access through a smartphone to the MyManu JUNO live translation app.
The app enables users to instantly hear incoming speech in his/her own language and for the respondent to hear the user’s speech in his/her own language.
With an ability to auto-translate between 37 languages, CLIK S with MyManu JUNO maintains an exact, permanent text record on any smartphone of all conversations, in the language of the receiver.
“With international travellers now finally returning after COVID-19, MyManu CLIK S is aimed specifically at the travel retail market, where the instant ability of users to converse in multiple languages, whenever needed, makes a major contribution to any trip,” CEH Technologies said.
The CLIK S earbuds are presented in a travel retail-size pack which is supported by a counter-top display for retailers. The pack includes CLIK S charging console, USB to USB-c charging cable and three sizes of silicone ear tips to ensure maximum passive sound isolation for all sizes of ear canals. CLIK S has a recommended retail price of US$159.
CEH Technologies and its MyManu brand are represented in travel retail by Garry Maxwell of GMAX Travel Retail.
“CLIK S is just the start of the MyManu offering of cutting-edge products aimed at travel retail,” he said.
Maxwell also detailed the rechargeable wireless VIBE which will be available in the channel shortly. The device provides multi-mode, vibrating 4D kinetic immersive sound for gaming, film and music lovers in a tiny, portable earbud package.
Another MyManu audio-telecoms product which, Maxwell claims, “will do things you simply won’t believe” is set to launch later this year.
“I am very excited to be a part of this project and it’s great to see great innovation hitting travel retail early,” Maxwell added.
