USA. Virgin Atlantic Airways has teamed with Plaza Premium Group to reopen the Clubhouse passenger lounge at New York John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport Terminal 4.
Upper Class customers, Flying Club Gold members, along with Delta Air Line’s Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Medallion members, can access the lounge from 19 July.

Clubhouse offers a complimentary à la carte menu featuring five-star dining, tapas, afternoon tea and a selection of cocktails, wine and soft drinks. The lounge’s breakfast menu includes eggs benedict, avocado on toast and a full English breakfast. Chicken tikka masala and a vegan Beyond Burger are also featured. |
According to Virgin Atlantic, the Clubhouse experience has been tailored to ensure customer safety.
The airline’s collaboration with Plaza Premium for the management of its Clubhouses will be extended to other locations, including Boston, San Francisco, Washington and Johannesburg, as travel restrictions are eased.

Koster said the airline looks forward to expanding its partnership with Plaza Premium Group to Clubhouses in North America and South Africa.

The two partners said they have agreed on the co-development of lounges in other key hubs within the airline’s network. Details will be announced soon.
