GERMANY/THE NETHERLANDS. Capi has partnered with American audio electronics company JBL in a major promotion at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Münich Airport, highlighting the JBL Fest in Las Vegas.
Activations in Capi’s landside stores offered travellers the chance to win a trip to the US resort city to attend the three-day music festival from 27-29 July. Featured artists will include Quincy Jones and Demi Lovato.

JBL and Capi said the two companies have established a strong partnership supported by special promotions, offers and Capi or airport-exclusive propositions. “This JBL Fest promotion is a fine example of this case, where JBL had chosen Capi as one of its preferred partners to let its customers participate in this sweepstake,” the companies stated.
JBL Key Account and Marketing Manager Harman Consumer Lifestyle Bas van de Rijt said: “JBL has chosen Capi for this activation based on our relationship and the high number of travellers at Schiphol and Münich. We wanted to offer Capi’s customers the opportunity to win this unique, once in a lifetime JBL Fest experience.”

Royal Capi-Lux Managing Director Peter Wiggers added: “We always aim to offer travellers something extra to create a unique shopping experience for them. With this promotion to win tickets to the JBL Fest in Las Vegas, we took experience to the next level, extending it even outside our stores.”
Rianca Groot claimed the trip to Las Vegas after purchasing a JBL headphone at the Capi landside store at Schiphol Plaza.
