VuQo Inc has signed a licensing agreement with Playboy Enterprises to develop a new premium vodka, set to be sold exclusively across select markets in the Asia Pacific region.
The launch of Playboy Vodka is expected in late 2013, with the spirit to be sold in Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
“Playboy is known for its iconic appeal and aspirational lifestyle. We are thrilled to offer a smooth and crisp premium vodka of the highest quality that will appeal to both Playboy and vodka enthusiasts alike,” said VuQo Inc Founder and CEO Rich Cabael.
VuQo Inc is the company behind VuQo Vodka, which it claims is the world’s first and only coconut-distilled vodka. The new product will be manufactured in the Philippines.
Playboy Enterprises’ Matt Nordby added: “We are excited to partner with VuQo to bring a one-of-a-kind premium vodka and another facet of the Playboy world to Asian consumers.
