MONACO. Misaki’s European designers are putting the finishing touches to new lines that will be launched at the Duty Free Show of the Americas next month. A selection of cultured pearls, precious metals and X-treme Lustre pearls provide the highlights of the new collections.
The pink colour line, which proved to be very successful at the TFWA World Exhibition in October, is extended with the 40-45 cm Sardegna Necklace, consisting of two rows of X-treme Lustre pearls in different shades of pink to aubergine, with sterling silver bands.
Gold-plated silver also makes a return with the Monalisa Pendant, combined with cabochons in warm tones. The Love Chain provides a young edge, with strong gold letters spelling the word “love” and a heart shape incrusted with cubic zirconia stones.
“We have revised our sales strategies for our collections,” said Misaki marketing and product director Ilse van Gompel. “Our modern line will from now on be renewed twice a year, whereas our classical line will be available for a longer period. This enables us to offer more diversity to our clients, and at the same time have a better stock control.
“Marketing wise we have improved considerably our communication over the past year. We have revamped our catalogues, website, added an exclusive airline catalogue and are currently working on a regular newsletter.”
