The Lookout is a platform designed to motivate and inspire William Grant & Sons Brand Ambassadors around the world

William Grant & Sons has partnered with Quantum to launch a bespoke app called ‘The Lookout’ to support its global travel retail staff. The app was launched as part of an integrated programme for staff and customers as international travel resumes. It features engaging brand content, community building elements, training and education and wellness exercises.

William Grant & Sons Head of Customer Marketing Global Travel Retail Lindsay Hitzeroth commented: “Global travel retail has always been an important channel for most drinks brands and, whilst the last few years have been difficult for everyone, there are few channels that have been as directly affected as the travel retail space.

“Global travel retail has always been really important to us at William Grant & Sons. Not just for the obvious reasons, but equally for the fantastic family of Brand Ambassadors that we have worldwide,” Hitzeroth explained.

“The lockdown was hard for everyone, but we made sure that we kept our global family close. We had a programme of regular get-togethers and tastings as well as a few special treats to keep up morale, from live gigs to appearances from some of our master distillers and people at all levels of the company.”

Hitzeroth added: “The Lookout App gives us the perfect platform to continue our commitment and support of our travel retail division, helping our passionate teams from across the globe access the most up-to-date information and brand experiences so that they can, in turn, share our incredible world with their customers.”
