‘Where tales take flight’ – Ajmal brings The Untold Stories collection to Zayed International Airport

The Abu Dhabi pop-up invites travellers to discover a world of scent, storytelling and artistry centred on The Untold Stories collection

UAE. Dubai fragrance house Ajmal Perfumes has launched a striking activation at Zayed International Airport in collaboration with Travel Retail Sales and Services (TRSS), as part of the Essence of Arabia platform.

The pop-up showcases The Untold Stories fragrance collection through a multi-sensory experience that combines olfactive storytelling and product discovery, rooted in the brand’s 70-year perfumery heritage. It is running throughout August and is located in the Departures zone.

The Untold Stories collection was developed in partnership with five international perfumers and is built around themes of self-expression, emotion and creative freedom.

The Abu Dhabi pop-up aligns with Ajmal’s wider expansion strategy in the channel. The brand is now listed in 86 duty-free stores across 60 countries, in addition to listings onboard 16 international airlines.

Ajmal commented, “The Untold Stories is our most expressive, boundary-breaking collection to date. We’re thrilled to bring this experience to Abu Dhabi through Essence of Arabia, where cultural richness meets global travel. This is not just about fragrance – it’s about feeling, memory and discovery.”

Ajmal was founded in 1951 when the late Haji Ajmal Ali first harvested oud oil from agarwood trees in Assam, Northern India. The brand adopts a farm-to-fragrance ethos and is grower, manufacturer and retailer of its collections. ✈
