INDIA. Whyte & Mackay has collaborated with Ospree Duty Free to launch the travel retail-exclusive The Dalmore Anthology at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
Launched in October, the collection comprises 13, 16 and 19 Year Old single malts at 43%, 46% and 47% ABV respectively, all finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The multi-cask maturation allows for extended ageing, contributing to greater depth and complexity across the range.
The Dalmore Anthology was developed in response to demand in travel retail for aged whiskies and ‘new-to-market’ releases, targeting consumers seeking limited and provenance-led expressions.

Whyte & Mackay noted, “The collection highlights The Dalmore’s renowned expertise in cask selection and its long-standing relationships with leading bodegas, while remaining true to the distillery’s signature house style.
“Borrowing from the language of literature, the term ‘Anthology’ reflects a curated collection of outstanding works. In the same spirit, each whisky has been created for discerning travellers in search of meaningful, elevated discoveries.” {Main story continues beneath the following panel}

The Dalmore Anthology launch with Ospree Duty Free is supported by an in-store campaign centred on storytelling and themed visual elements.
Custom display units are designed as bookshelves, with gondolas styled to resemble oversized book covers.
Illuminated glorifiers referencing stacked volumes highlight each expression within the retail space. A dedicated gifting station also forms part of the activation at Mumbai Airport.

“Scotch whisky continues to lead the category, with single malt Scotch now the largest spirits segment by value at India’s leading airports, driven by premiumisation and increasingly sophisticated shopper demand.
“Whyte & Mackay is investing in this momentum through strong partnerships with travel retail customers. We are delighted to collaborate with Ospree Duty Free at Mumbai International Airport to present this exceptional new collection.
“The Dalmore Anthology will undoubtedly help drive growth and support our partner in capturing greater spend from Indian travellers.”
