FRANCE. Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) Beauté has unveiled its End of Year Holiday 2008 make-up items, which began rolling out into travel retail this month.
The Bow Collection reinterprets a symbol and motif that the late designer wove into many of his couture creations. The overall look was created by Val Garland.

The advertising visual features model Coco Rocha hidden behind a thick fringe of hair. Her laughing lips are defined with an intense, plumping lipstick; her fingers linger on the black satin bow tied around her neck.
The Bow Collection features one “must-have” accessory, according to YSL – the Palette Duo pour les Lèvres (Duo Lip Colour Palette), priced in travel retail at €45.34.
This limited edition takes the form of a matte gold butterfly adorned with a sparkling bow, which opens its wings to reveal two festive lip colours: a raspberry red and a lighter pink gloss.
The palette also includes a small mirror, applicator brush and twisted black cord for accessorising a handbag or belt.
Another key item of the Bow Collection is the Touche Eclat Collector limited edition (€26.71). YSL’s best-selling illuminator/concealer has been repackaged in a black velvet pouch, trimmed with a satin bow, for the party season.
The collection also includes new shades of Golden Gloss, Rouge Pur lipstick and La Laque nail polish, priced at €19.21, €19.80 and €16.41, respectively.
