FRANCE. Yves Saint Laurent Parfums has unveiled its autumn/winter make-up collection 2009, which will be available in travel retail from 1 September. The look features a luminous base, graphic pearl-grey eyes and sculpted purple lips.
The collection includes three new products. The limited-edition Y Palette (priced at €40 in travel retail), contains two natural shades of powder – peach and iridescent brown – each with radiance-boosting pigments.

The powder takes the form of a “Y”, stylised with saddle stitching, to evoke the brand’s sought-after “it” bags.
Also new is YSL’s Crème de Blush (€26.88), a soft, airy blusher that transforms from a cream to a powder to melt onto the skin bringing a rosy warmth to cheeks, according to the company.
It is available in three shades – Velvety Rose, Powdery Rose and Silky Praline – and is presented in a portable clear glass jar topped with a gold-coloured cap.
New for lips is Gloss Volupté/Stick Gloss (€20.90), complete with SPF9. This is said to deliver a translucent, ultra-comfortable gloss, with a subtle mango flavour. Four shades are available: Iced Lychee, Chilled Raspberry, Frozen Cherry and Frosted Plum.
The collection is completed with new shades of nail polish, Rouge Volupté lipstick, and eye shadow. Two eye shadow quintets are available, in Midnight and Bronze Gold colourways.
