Travel Retail Director Alexandra Schimel admires a tie from Zilli’s latest collection |
FRANCE. French men’s fashion house Zilli is to open a 10sq m duty free shop-in-shop in Gebr Heinemann’s Almaty-Kazakhstan store next month. The new outlet will stock Zilli’s accessories range, including belts and ties. Gebr Heinemann also carries Zilli products in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The Zilli brand is seeing success across Russia, in cities such as Moscow and St Petersburg. “Zilli is well known in Russia,” said Travel Retail Director Alexandra Schimel. “We have four shops in Moscow, including three at Sheremetyevo airport. The T2 store sells our full range.”
In Asia, a 40sq m downtown shop-in-shop began trading in Macau two months ago.
In other news, Zilli is to start selling an ultra-soft leather golfer’s glove, following the rapturous reception a sample glove received at the golf tournament held during last week’s TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition in Singapore. Zilli, who gave a glove to every participant, co-sponsored Sunday’s event with The Moodie Report at the Raffles Country Club.
