ASIA PACIFIC. Some 260 brands have confirmed their participation in this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference, which will be staged in the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center in Singapore from 10-14 May.
This is the 20th edition of the event and registration is now open.
Among the new companies confirmed are Moët Hennessy, Beam Suntory and SABMiller in the liquor category; Radley London, Diesel and Lollipops Paris in fashion; Favarger, Galler and Leonidas in confectionery; MTG Japan, Nivea and Rituals in fragrances & cosmetics; Altimetre in gifts & toys; Misaki and Ogon in jewellery & watches, and KT&G in tobacco.
Some exhibitors, including Calvin Klein Jeans and La Prairie, have increased their exhibition space significantly, noted TFWA, which added that Changi Airport Group is also returning this year.

In 2014 there were over 250 stands at the show and nearly 2,700 visitors, 37% of whom were described as “key buyers from airports, airlines, ferries, cruiselines, downtown and cross-border stores”.
Following a Welcoming Cocktail on Sunday evening, the 2015 event will get underway formally on Monday 11th with a business conference and workshops.
Networking opportunities will include a poolside Chill-Out Party, a Singapore Swing Party, a golf tournament organised in partnership with Interparfums, a Tai Chi session sponsored by Pandora, the TFWA Asia Pacific Bar also sponsored by exhibitors and the ONE2ONE pre-arranged meetings service.
