UK. Clinique will introduce its autumn make-up collection, called High Definition, in September. The line includes both new shades and new products.
The overall High Definition look is an on-trend well-groomed, “made-up” effect, with the key focus on eyes, which need skilful lining and luscious lashes.
Accordingly, Clinique has created a new mascara called High Definition Lashes. This is a lengthening mascara that also offers extreme definition thanks to its double-sided wand, according to the company.
The brush side is said to coat lashes and add fullness, while the comb side maximises length and definition.
Also new for eyes is a Brush-On Cream Liner (this made its debut last year as a limited edition item in the Holiday 2005 Collection). It is described as a fast-drying, non-smudging cream-gel liner that can deliver a thick or thin full-coverage effect.
Other items include new shades of Clinique’s Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo sets, plus a limited-edition Blushing Blush Powder Blush, presented in the form of a slim, checkerboard palette.
