Singapore Changi issues T3 duty free wine and cigar shop tenders – 09/01/07

SINGAPORE. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has issued two more key tenders, covering the wine and cigar categories, respectively, at the new Terminal Three’s departure/transit lounge south. The terminal is set to open next year.

The wine concession runs nominally from 1 January 2008 until 31 December 2010. However those dates are subject to the opening date for T3 – in any event the term will be for a period of three years with an option to extend for a further two.

Bids close on 16 February.

The same term and bid dates apply to the cigar outlet, also located in Terminal Three’s departure/transit lounge south.

As reported last week, the CAAS has just issued a tender to operate all the main liquor and tobacco shops across Changi’s existing and new terminals.
