INDIA. With the 2026 Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) + Hospitality Conference & Awards fast approaching, The Moodie Davitt Report is delighted to unveil the first finalists from selected award categories ahead of the event to be held in Bengaluru on 7-8 July.
All other finalists will be revealed next week.
Owned and organised by The Moodie Davitt Report since 2011, FAB is hosted this year by Bangalore International Airport Limited.
This year’s awards programme features 20 categories and has attracted almost 350 entries from across the airport hospitality and travel dining sectors.
In a key change from previous years, besides the overall winner in each category (and regional winners where appropriate), short-listed candidates (the finalists) will all receive Gold Awards. Those deserving of recognition but which fall short of making the finalists’ line-up will receive Silver Awards.
We start the initial finalist reveal with contenders across four award categories:
Airport Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year: As workplaces become increasingly diverse and interconnected, and as equity and inclusion face growing political challenges in some markets, we believe it is more critical than ever to champion these values. This year’s finalists provide inspiring examples of meaningful action and strong commitment to social progress.
FAB Airport Health and Wellness-Centred Offer of the Year: Wellness-focused dining has become an increasingly important part of airport food & beverage, as demonstrated by this year’s strong line-up of entries.
Airport Food Hall of the Year: Food halls or courts have long been an integral component of airport F&B. But their ubiquitousness and necessary focus on a broad diversity of choice should not compromise excellence of offer, environment and service. This year’s finalists have been assessed on the overall strength of their offer, from quality and efficiency to value and customer experience.
Airport Sustainability & Environmental Initiative of the Year: This category highlights initiatives that have delivered meaningful progress at a critical time for the planet’s future and aviation’s environmental credentials. This award salutes companies that integrate far-reaching sustainability into their food & beverage and hospitality offerings, demonstrating proactive environmental stewardship across their initiatives.
