Hope and Greenwood will offer travel exclusive Bumper Boxes containing hand-made sweets in 50s-style packaging |
UK. Confectioner Hope and Greenwood will make its debut in travel retail at London Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 5, which opens on 27 March.
Located within the World Duty Free stores, Hope and Greenwood will be offering a selection of traditional sweets and chocolates.
It will also introduce exclusive Bumper Boxes containing candies such as Mojos, Fruit Salads, Black Jacks, Traffic Light Lollies, Refreshers and Drumsticks. These are all hand-made and presented in traditional 50s-style packaging.
The confectionery house hopes to offer Terminal 5 travellers “an unforgettable trip down memory lane,” with childhood favourites such as Liquorice Bonbons to more old-fashioned treats such as Flying Saucers and Nut Brittle.
World Duty Free Head of Category for Food Fraser Dunlop said: “We are excited to introduce Hope and Greenwood into the travel retail market and believe this new concept will be a hit with our passengers wanting real British confectionery.”
Miss Hope, of Hope and Greenwood, said: “Terminal 5 is set to be such a splendid airport, we are proud to be showcasing our British confectionery range this March. With the wide range of British chocolates and jolly sweets available, we are sure that everyone will find their old favourite.”
