Watches from the new Rotary Evolution TZ2 series |
UK. Rotary Watches has introduced the new Evolution timepiece range to celebrate the brand’s international expansion. The innovations have been designed with the travel retail market in mind and will be showcased at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes next month (Stand number: Yellow Village AA17).
The Rotary Evolution range of avant-garde statement watches is said to offer travel-related functionality and “striking good looks”.
Encompassing a capsule collection of travel-centric timepieces, the new sub-brand is the result of three years of design and development, resulting in a ground-breaking group of contemporary timepieces, the company said.
Series TZ1 is a family of chronograph watches in three colourways: stainless steel, PVD rose gold and PVD yellow gold. Designed to remain true to the essence of the Evolution brand, each dial has eye-catching red accents. The chronograph movement allows fractions of time to be measured and is aimed at those choosing a more sports-inspired piece.
Series TZ2 represents the most innovative of the models and includes the patented and award-winning round and rectangular rotating case strap watches, dubbed the Rotary Revelation. Individually powered by two separate movements, the timepieces allow the wearer to retain two separate times and achieve two distinctive looks in one watch.
Suitable for both professional and casual wear, the TZ2 series is said to be as functional as it is stylish. The concurrent theme is “day” and “night” as each watch has a contrasting dark dial on one side and a light dial on the other. The series features precision detailing with flecks of colour on the dials and indexes.
Although the majority of the models in this series have been designed to appeal to men, two mid-
size Austrian crystal set, round models have been launched in stainless steel and PVD rose gold with white croco leather straps for women. The models are said to add unusual detailing and rich colour to the range.
The TZ3 watches are described as trio-timer models. Each watch features a futuristic grid-effect dial that includes two separately-powered mini dials resulting in an ability to maintain three separate times. Made from stainless steel, PVD rose gold and black ion plating, these large, design-led watches are finished with a ribbed rubber strap and deployment clasp.
The Rotary Evolution brand carries the company’s lifetime guarantee. The waterproof standard applies to the TZ1 and TZ3 collections only.
