Premium travel and lifestyle accessories brand Tumi debuts its Tegra-Lite collection (pictured below) this month.
This lightweight travel collection of “unparalleled strength” includes two-wheeled and four-wheeled carry-ons and several four-wheeled packing cases.
Combining high levels of durability and impact resistance in a protective, hard-side case which is lightweight and easy to handle, the line is made from Tegris, a polypropylene thermoplastic composite material created by Milliken for use in lifesaving armour, NASCAR race cars and protective gear for NFL players.
This material can be woven into fabric and then pressed into hard sheets for use in the luggage.
The Tumi/Milliken partnership on Tegris has developed over several years and the product is exclusive to Tumi for travel and accessory products around the world.
