INDONESIA. PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero), together with GVK, has issued a number of new tenders for commercial activities at the new International Terminal of Ngurah Rai Airport – Bali.
PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) is a state-owned enterprise specialised in airport management. It manages 13 airports across central, and eastern Indonesia, from Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang, up to Frans Kaisiepo Airport in Biak located in the far eastern tip of the country.
The new tenders follow the recent award of the core duty free concession agreement at the new terminal to Dufry, while the Inti Dufree Promosindo/DFS alliance gained the concessions to operate a number of specialist retail stores. Angkasa Pura I also signed five-year concession agreements with three food & beverage operators – Bogajaya, Sumber Mas Utama and Taurus Gemilang – to operate at Ngurah Rai International.
Here are the details of each of the new opportunities:
TENDER 2E: HIGH STREET FASHION
Store – Surface 130sq m
For this tender package, basic space rent will be IRP8.5 million (US$870) per annum per square meter (m2). In addition, each tenderer should propose a revenue share of the forecasted turnover backed up with a minimum revenue share annual guarantee.

Persero offers three commercial opportunities reserved for national or international brands of travel agency companies:
a) 9A: Shop/Lounge with counter inside – Surface 34sq m
b) 9B: Shop/Lounge with counter inside – Surface 34sq m
c) 9C: Shop/Lounge with counter inside – Surface 30sq m

For each of the two tender packages, the revenue share will be 12% of the actual turnover (which will be backed up by a minimum guaranteed revenue share) and the rent for the Ready Line will be IR20 million per car space per annum for the first year and revised each year (+ inflation + 2%).
