AUSTRALIA. LS travel retail Pacific has opened its second Amuse Beauty Studio at Sydney Airport, with a third store to follow this August at Melbourne Airport.
Located at Terminal 3, the new Sydney Airport store opened on 8 May and spans 349sq m. It follows the 29 April opening of the first store, covering 369sq m, at Sydney T2 Departures.
As reported, Amuse Beauty Studio is a new beauty concept from LS travel retail Pacific. The travel retailer has tapped into its experience in the beauty sector, courtesy of its network of duty free and luxury stores throughout Australia and New Zealand, to develop Amuse specifically for the travel retail environment.

With an aim to “˜make beauty personal’, Amuse Beauty Studio stores are designed to offer passengers an extensive selection of luxury beauty brands within a premium emporium-style setting. These include Hermès, Tom Ford, MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone, Bond No 9, Benefit, Jurlique, Creed, Amouage, Penhaligons, YSL, Viktor & Rolf, and Kiehls.
With a focus on makeup and colour, Amuse Beauty Studio will also offer services such as makeup artistry and express makeovers.
LS travel retail Pacific CEO Matthieu Mercier said: “We continuously strive to innovate and identify bespoke retail opportunities to enhance our customer’s travelling experience and Amuse Beauty Studio is exactly that. It is the first of its kind in Australia offering sought after prestigious and global brands in a sleek and sophisticated environment.”
He continued: “We enjoy well established partnerships with Sydney Airport and Qantas and are pleased to partner with them for our first Amuse openings. Our third Amuse store is scheduled to open in Melbourne’s Terminal 4 in August.”
