USA. Chickie’s & Pete’s and InMotion Entertainment have been named Merchants of the Quarter at Philadelphia International Airport’s The Philadelphia Marketplace.
Sports bar and restaurant Chickie’s & Pete’s, located in Concourse C, was named Restaurant of the Quarter. It features a seafood menu and is claimed to be the birthplace of the “Philly-famous Crabfries”.
InMotion Entertainment is said to be the largest airport-based entertainment and electronics retailer in the USA. Its store at Philadelphia airport is located in the D/E Connector, and offers products such as headphones, cameras, tablets and fitness bands.
The Merchants of the Quarter are determined through The Philadelphia Marketplace’s Cutting EDGE! (Excellence Drives Great Experiences) programme. Each merchant can earn EDGE! points for exceeding expectations through great customer service, marketing and training. Quarterly and yearly awards are given based on points received.
