Jameson has launched Jameson Black Barrel Double Char Select as a Dublin Airport exclusive with Aer Rianta International (ARI).
Limited to 1,000 pieces and available at ARI’s The Loop, the whiskey has been designed to celebrate the ongoing redevelopment of Terminal 2.
Jameson Black Barrel is a blended whiskey which is aged in double-charred barrels. Time spent maturing in the barrels gives the whiskey intensified notes of vanilla and caramel as well as woody, fruity and spicy notes, said the brand.
In the exclusive Double Char Select, these notes are intensified, explained Jameson. It has also been bottled at a higher strength: 48% ABV.
As reported by The Moodie Davitt Report last month, Dublin Airport Terminal 2 is undergoing an ambitious upgrade. ARI’s new spirits & wines concept, The Loop, was one of the first stages to be completed.
