Molton Brown highlights Re-Charge Black Pepper line in lead-up to Father’s Day

Molton Brown’s Re-Charge Black Pepper collection is lead by the popular fragrance created by Master Perfumer Jacques Chabert

British fragrance house Molton Brown is spotlighting its Re-Charge Black Pepper collection in the lead-up to Father’s Day on 19 June.

The fragrance and body care range, which marks its 20th anniversary this year, is a gifting favourite within the Molton Brown portfolio and recently claimed the Best Unisex Fragrance at the 2022 RSVP Awards.

Molton Brown’s Re-Charge Black Pepper has a woody, citrus scent created by Master Perfumer Jacques Chabert in 2002. He and his daughters Carla and Elsa have helped craft some of the brand’s most popular fragrances.

The Re-Charge Black Pepper Collection includes an Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette and a body range with Bath & Shower Gel, Body Lotion, Deodorant Spray and a Bath & Shower Gel Refill pouch.

Molton Brown Associate Director Travel Retail Rosie Cook said: “We are thrilled to be marking 20 years of Re-Charge Black Pepper, which is a true icon in the Molton Brown portfolio and one of our most popular fragrance families.

“We know that iconic products are attractive to shoppers in the travel retail market today and that makes this the perfect opportunity to provide something truly special for shoppers returning to the travel market for their summer holidays.”

Re-Charge Black Pepper edp opens with spicy notes accented by bergamot and myrtle pepper, followed by oakmoss and a woody depth. The edt offers notes of black pepper, ginger and lemon, a heart of coriander on an earthy vetiver base.

Underlining Molton Brown’s commitment to sustainability, Re-charge Black Pepper has a 100% vegan formula and is cruelty free. It is produced in England at the brand’s Elsenham manufacturing facility, which is carbon-neutral.

The Black Pepper Essential Oil is Ecocert Cosmos certified and the 300ml Bath and Body bottles are made from 50% recycled plastic while the Bath & Shower Refill uses -63% less plastic compared to standard bottles.

As reported, Molton Brown has launched refill pouches for its hand, bath and body collections in travel retail. The launch furthers Molton Brown’s self-stated mission to battle disposable beauty. According to the brand owner, the refill pouches have performed well in domestic markets and in ecommerce channels.
