USA. Paradies Lagardère has made a US$25,000 sponsorship donation to BLEND Palm Beach County, a community programme for minority-owned fruit and vegetable growers and catering businesses with a school gardening and cooking initiative.
The leading airport retailer and restaurateur group made the donation as part of its commitment to local communities and fostering connections wherever it operates.
BLEND Palm Beach County has been helping school children learn to grow and harvest microgreens for a year and now wants to expand the programme to four more West Palm Beach schools and a local Salvation Army Community Centre.
“At Paradies Lagardère, we believe in supporting the many communities across North America in which we serve,” said Paradies Lagardère President and CEO Gregg Paradies, “Our partnership with BLEND Palm Beach County reflects our commitment to creating meaningful connections and supporting initiatives that celebrate diversity and community growth.”

The BLEND Palm Beach programme is executive-directed by catering business and café owner Trinette Morris. Her business Trindy Gourmet was given the seal of approval after a surprise visit to the café from celebrity chef Martha Stewart, who was killing time after missing a flight back to New York in 2018.
“We are thrilled to receive this generous donation from Paradies Lagardère,” said Morris, “This contribution will significantly enhance our efforts to create opportunities for minority-owned businesses in the food industry, allowing them to showcase their unique flavours and cultural contributions to the community.”
The Paradies Lagardère group has committed to helping local communities as part of its four-pillar Corporate Social Responsibility strategy P.E.P.S, which stands for Planet.Ethics.People.Social.
