Beauty&You and Alipay+ join hands in payment alliance at Hong Kong International Airport

HONG KONG, CHINA.  Beauty&You, The Shilla Duty Free-owned beauty products and fashion accessories retailer at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), has partnered with Alipay+ to introduce a cross-border payment experience for shoppers.

With Alipay+, passengers can pay like locals, using their preferred payment choices, such as e-wallets and banking apps, at Beauty&You stores.

To kick off the service, Beauty&You, AlipayHK and Alipay have unveiled a wide range of exclusive discounts, promotional offers and other customer engagements, running until 14 May.

The Shilla Duty Free Hong Kong x Alipay+ partnership has been launched with an array of promotional activities, including an interactive photo booth

AlipayHK users can enjoy HK$100 (US$12.80) off when spending HK$500 (US$64) and paying with Ant Bank PayLater or eM+.

Alipay users benefit from a CNY70 (US$9.60) discount when spending CNY1,800 (US$250) or CNY100 (US$13.80) when spending CNY3,000 (US$415).

In order to snare passengers’ attention and draw them into the stores, a ‘weekly grab coupon’ activity is being hosted on the Alipay App at 12pm every day, allowing shoppers to redeem gifts before boarding.

Beauty&You has also partnered with international brands to bring an array of exclusive shopping offers to HKIA passengers as part of the campaign.

To enrich the customer journey, a vibrant blue interactive photo booth is now available at Beauty&You’s East Hall South store.

After selecting their photo frame and taking a photo, shoppers either scan the QR code to get an e-print or experience the function of Alipay+ by simply paying HK$1 with their home e-wallets or banking apps to get an instant photo and a free gift.

A gacha (capsule toy) machine is also available at the retailer’s East Hall North store.

Passengers can enjoy a free gift by following the ‘Shilla Duty Free Hong Kong’ Alipay brand channel.
