USA. MarketPlace PHL, which manages the concessions programme at Philadelphia International Airport, is set to host its 2024 PHL Leasing Opportunities Outreach Event on 31 July at Philadelphia Airport Marriott in Terminal B.
The event will be hosted in partnership with the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Aviation and is open to retail, consumer service and food & beverage proprietors and their teams.
The programme includes an informational session about the leasing process and upcoming leasing opportunities at Philadelphia Airport. Proposals will be released immediately after the event.
Philadelphia Airport recorded 28.1 million passengers in 2023, up by +12.6% from the previous year. It offers a wide selection of retail and food & beverage offerings, from well-known global brands to homegrown establishments.

The airport is also expecting a rise in passenger traffic over the next two years as Philadelphia will be the centre of the year-long celebration of the 250th anniversary of America on 4 July 2026.
The Semiquincentennial event will focus on everything “Philly”, including the wide variety of Philadelphia-founded shops and restaurants at the airport.
MarketPlace PHL Vice President and General Manager Mel Hannah said: “This year’s outreach allows Philly favourites, as well as regional and national retailers, to explore opportunities to expand their brands at PHL.” ✈
