SCOTLAND. Escape Lounges, owned and operated by Manchester Airports Group company CAVU Group, has officially opened its latest airport lounge at Edinburgh Airport.
Located next to Gate 4 and the British Airways Lounge, the lounge is open daily from 4:00am to 10:00pm and is accessible to all passengers, regardless of airline or class of travel.
Travellers can book online from £39.99 or opt for walk-in access on the day of travel for £49. The lounge is also available to Priority Pass and DragonPass members.
The offering features a premium pre-flight experience, combining comfort, convenience and design inspired by the local landscape and heritage.
According to the company, deep-green furnishings and integrated foliage echo Edinburgh’s reputation as “the greenest city in the UK”, while sandy tones reflect the city’s historic stone buildings.
Art installations throughout the space highlight key cityscapes, from the medieval Old Town and Georgian New Town to the dynamic waterfront of Leith.

The Edinburgh Airport location is designed with flexibility in mind. The space is divided into zones catering to solo travellers, business passengers and families alike with designated areas for working, dining and relaxing.
Guests can enjoy chef-curated seasonal menus, including breakfast, all-day dining and fresh, locally inspired dishes. Travellers can also enjoy a selection of premium local and international wines, beers and spirits as well as complimentary access to over 7,000 digital publications via PressReader. Additional amenities include high-speed wifi, power outlets and real-time flight information.
“Our mission is to transform the airport experience, and we’re thrilled to be opening our newest Escape Lounge at Edinburgh Airport,” said CAVU Head of Growth, Experiences Rob Hassard.

“Our elevated offering gives all guests flying out of the region the chance to enjoy an Escape to Remember – through a combination of exceptional food and drink, attentive service, and a beautifully designed lounge, all inspired by the local region.”
Edinburgh Airport Chief Commercial Officer (XAero) Gail Taylor added, “We are committed to elevating the travel experience for our passengers, and the opening of this brand-new Escape Lounge – the first of its kind in Scotland – is another significant step forward for us.
“We’re particularly proud of how Edinburgh and Scotland are reflected throughout the lounge, ensuring our passengers enjoy a final taste of Scotland before they depart. We look forward to welcoming them and helping them start their journey in a relaxed and comfortable setting.” ✈
