Kreol Travel Retail has partnered with Cochin Duty Free for an in-store activation, highlighting BMB’s Petit Gourmet Pistachio Kunafa Chocolate at Kochi’s Cochin International Airport.
A giant replica of the chocolate bar forms the centrepiece of the activation, accompanied by golden palm tree displays and a Dubai-themed photo frame.

BMB’s Dubai-made kunafa chocolate reimagines the Middle East’s popular dessert, featuring a crunchy centre layered with premium pistachio and coated in smooth milk chocolate.
Its sweet, nutty and buttery flavour profile has made it a bestselling confectionery item among travellers seeking authentic yet innovative treats.
The chocolate is available in 195g and 470g formats, suitable for personal indulgence as well as gifting and sharing. The 195g bar is typically distributed through gourmet and online channels, while the 470g has been designed specifically for travel retail.
Kreol Group CEO Lal Arakulath said: “Our partnership with BMB continues to grow as we introduce innovative, high-quality products to travellers across the region.
“Kunafa Chocolate has performed exceptionally well in multiple markets, and its debut at Cochin Duty Free aligns perfectly with our mission to offer travellers something unique, memorable, and culturally rich.”
Kreol Group Executive Director Kreol Arakulath added: “We are confident this launch will be warmly received by both Indian consumers and international passengers.
“What makes us different is the family-size spin on the viral pistachio chocolate trend, so we’ve designed our activation to communicate the large, chunky size of this bar.”
BMB is part of the Agthia Group, one of the Middle East’s leading food and beverage companies, whose portfolio covers snacking, water, beverages and food essentials.
The group’s support gives BMB the manufacturing strength, innovation capabilities and scale required to accelerate its global footprint.
Cochin International Airport Managing Director S Suhas IAS commented: “Cochin Duty Free has always aimed to offer travellers a curated selection of global products that enhance their journey through our airport.
“The introduction of BMB’s chocolate adds a distinctive Middle Eastern flavour to our retail mix and strengthens our commitment to delivering fresh, high‑quality offerings. We welcome this collaboration and look forward to seeing strong passenger engagement with this product.”
Agthia Group Director of Marketing, Snacking Evgenia Papageorgiou added: “We are thrilled to see Kunafa Chocolate reach Indian travellers through Cochin Duty Free. This launch is a meaningful step in our international travel retail journey.
“India is a priority market, and we couldn’t ask for a better partner than Kreol to bring this product to life. Kunafa Chocolate was built to travel: it carries the soul of a beloved Middle Eastern tradition in a format that speaks to consumers everywhere.” ✈
