VIETNAM. Vietnam Duty Free has described today’s Grand Opening of its new stores at Noi Bai International Airport Terminal 2 as “the beginning of our next chapter”, pledging a continued commitment to expanding its brand portfolio, enhancing its retail spaces and services, and introducing more distinctive local experiences.
As reported, Vietnam Duty Free soft opened the stores at the gateway to the nation’s capital on 19 September. Today it formally celebrated their inauguration at an event graced by government authorities and business partners from home and abroad.

Vietnam Duty Free (VDF) is offering expansive and refined shopping spaces in both the east and west wings with a major new store post-central security set to open late this year.
“With each step forward, VDF aspires to bring duty-free shopping in Vietnam closer to the standards of the world’s leading travel retail destinations, right at the country’s international gateway,” the company said.
“The event marked an important milestone in VDF’s development journey, completing the first phase of its store network at Noi Bai International Airport.
“The support of government authorities, together with the trust and partnership of our brands and business partners, has been instrumental in bringing VDF’s vision to life: creating an international-standard duty-free shopping destination that reflects the distinctive spirit of Vietnam,” the retailer continued.
