SOUTH KOREA. Shinsegae Duty Free has debuted a redesigned Cartier boutique in Incheon International Airport Terminal 1.
Launched on 12 March, the concept combines the maison’s classic aesthetic with Korean cultural influences.

The champagne-gold exterior highlights Cartier’s brand identity, with warm red and beige accents, and wood-inspired elements evoking historic Korean wooden panels.
A striking focal wall depicts the Incheon Bridge, incorporating Cartier’s signature panther motif to highlight the maison’s heritage.

The store showcases Cartier’s collections, including jewellery, timepieces, leathergoods, fragrances and accessories.
The opening reinforces the travel retailer’s strategy to build a curated “luxury fashion boutique zone”, featuring key global brands since winning the DF4 zone (Fashion & Boutique) concession at the airport in 2023.

Renowned brands including Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Dior and Celine bolster the luxury line-up, creating a distinctive retail destination within the airport.
A Shinsegae Duty Free spokesperson said, “The reimagined Cartier boutique reflects the strong partnership between Shinsegae Duty Free and the maison, and we are pleased to present a space where Korean aesthetics harmonise with Cartier’s brand heritage.

“We will continue collaborating with leading luxury houses to elevate the travel retail experience at Incheon International Airport.” ✈
