Guerlain has revealed three innovations across makeup and fragrance: the limited-edition Terracotta Summer Glow bronzing powder, Shalimar Millésime Rose fragrance and a reformulated KissKiss lipstick line. All three launched in global travel retail on 5 May.
Shalimar Millésime Rose

Shalimar Millésime Rose is a limited-edition interpretation of the original Shalimar fragrance centred on rose notes.
Building on Shalimar’s 100th anniversary celebrations and developed by Guerlain Director of Perfume Creation Delphine Jelk. The original Shalimar was created by Jacques Guerlain in 1925 and is known to be the world’s first amber scent.
Shalimar Millésime Roscombines Centifolia rose absolute from Grasse, Damascene rose essence and rose water with Guerlain’s established Shalimar amber accord.
Vanilla, opoponax, patchouli and incense notes are also incorporated, maintaining links to the original Shalimar olfactory signature.
The fragrance was crafted through an ongoing partnership with Le Mas des Sources, an organic perfume-plant producer in the Grasse region, which supplies Guerlain’s Centifolia rose absolute.
In a nod to the original Shalimar bottle designed by Raymond Guerlain in 1925, the limited-edition packaging features a pink-toned ‘bat’ label and black leather neck tie.
The launch drives Guerlain’s wider strategy of extending heritage fragrance pillars through annual limited editions focused on specific raw materials.
KissKiss lipstick

Guerlain has also unveiled the KissKiss lipstick collection, described as the brand’s first ‘kissproof’ honey lipstick.
The KissKiss lipstick formula combines honey, beeswax, royal jelly and propolis extract with a dual-polymer technology that improves adhesion, wear and transfer resistance. It delivers up to 24-hour wear while maintaining hydration and comfort.
The collection comprises 20 matte shades spanning nude, red, pink, plum and orange colour families.
The updated packaging introduces a slimmer refillable case featuring a honeycomb-inspired design and engraved bee motif.
According to Guerlain, the refillable system reduces packaging, CO2 emissions and fossil fuel impact compared to purchasing two full lipstick products.

Terracotta Summer Glow
The limited-edition Terracotta Summer Glow bronzing powder revisits the Moroccan heritage of the original Terracotta powder launched in 1984.
The refillable compact references Moroccan zellige (a traditional ornamental mosaic composed of coloured earthenware) craftsmanship through a collaboration with Moroccan artisan workshops Aït Manos. The design features green, white and gold detailing alongside amber tones and forms part of Guerlain’s wider Terracotta Golden Dunes collection launched in March.
The powder combines bronzing and blush tones within a single pressed formula, designed for multi-use application across face and eyes. The product includes two bronzing shades and two blush shades in pink and coral tones.
The formula remains based on the existing Terracotta Light composition, featuring 96% naturally derived ingredients and Moroccan flower honey.
According to Guerlain, the launch continues its strategy of leveraging collectible limited editions within established beauty franchises. It also drives its mission to transition to more refillable formats. ✈
