INDIA. K Hospitality Corp has launched Kliff Ventures, a new INR2 billion (US$20.9 million) consumer retail fund set up to invest in high-growth businesses across the food & beverage, retail and consumer services sectors.
The move marks the group’s expansion into investment-led growth, complementing its established presence in hospitality, food services and travel retail through its portfolio of operating businesses, including publicly listed Travel Food Services.
K Hospitality said the fund will combine strategic capital with operational expertise, industry access and long-term support to help founders scale their businesses.

Announcing the launch on LinkedIn, the company said: “For over five decades, K Hospitality has built, scaled and operated brands across food, hospitality and consumer-facing businesses. We are excited to further our journey with the launch of Kliff Ventures – our INR2 billion consumer retail fund focused on backing ambitious founders and high-growth brands.
“India’s consumer landscape is evolving rapidly, creating significant opportunities across F&B, retail and consumer services. Through Kliff Ventures, we aim to combine strategic capital with operating expertise, industry access and long-term support to help founders navigate scale and build enduring businesses.
“This is a natural extension of K Hospitality’s entrepreneurial journey – continuing to create, support and invest in brands shaping the future of consumer experiences in India.”
Kliff Ventures’ debut investment
K Hospitality has also announced that Kliff Ventures has made its first investment, in Indian coffee chain abcoffee.
K Hospitality noted that over the last few years, abcoffee Founder Abhijeet Anand and team have built a distinctive brand in India’s rapidly growing coffee category, combining accessibility, quality and convenience to create a proposition that resonates strongly with today’s consumers.
“What stood out to us was not just the strength of the business, but the clarity of vision, disciplined execution and ambition to build an enduring brand,” said the company in a LinkedIn post. “At Kliff Ventures, we are focused on partnering with the next generation of leaders in the consumer retail sector.

“We are delighted to back Abhijeet and the entire abcoffee team and look forward to supporting them as they continue their growth journey.”
