IRELAND. Two Stacks Irish Whiskey has unveiled two Aer Lingus-exclusive releases to mark the airline’s 90th anniversary, including the first straight Irish whiskey in a can and a new 90ml Single Pot Still expression.
Now available onboard Aer Lingus short-haul flights, the two expressions mark an important milestone for both Two Stacks and Irish whiskey in travel retail.
Priced at €9.50 (US$11), the Dram In A Can offers layers of sweet sherry, dried fruit and subtle nutty warmth, and is also available as a complimentary option on Aer Lingus transatlantic flights.
Completing the anniversary range is a limited-edition 9 Year Old 90th Anniversary Commemorative Whiskey, a single-cask release finished in red ice wine barrels.

The whiskey offers raspberry, strawberry, bright fruit and a long, sweet finish. Only 10,090 individually numbered 50ml bottles have been produced for exclusive sale on Aer Lingus short-haul flights at €12.50 (US$14).
The partnership reinforces Two Stacks’ distinctive positioning through its focus on authenticity, craftsmanship and bold product innovation.
Exclusively trademarked by Two Stacks, Dram In A Can has emerged as a standout commercial format, consistently outperforming the brand’s 700ml bottle sales on a case-volume basis across international markets.
The Aer Lingus launch also advances Two Stacks’ commercial expansion while highlighting the growing role of alternative formats in the premium Irish whiskey category in travel retail.
Two Stacks Co-Founder Shane McCarthy said: “We’re here to show people that Irish whiskey is more than a green bottle. The Dram In A Can was always built to take whiskey to new places, and there’s nowhere better to prove that than 35,000 feet above Ireland.”
Both expressions are made using Single Pot Still whiskey, a style unique to Ireland and known for its rich, full-bodied character, reflecting the Irish heritage shared by Two Stacks and Aer Lingus.
Founded by lifelong friends Shane McCarthy and Liam Brogan, Two Stacks has reintroduced the traditional bonder approach, sourcing and blending spirits from across Ireland for its range of expressions. ✈
