Stars, stripes and Scotch: TRGC reveals Forth & Main dining venue exclusively at Edinburgh Airport

UK. Travel hospitality operator TRGC has opened Forth & Main, a new Scottish-American diner concept developed exclusively for Edinburgh Airport.

The restaurant welcomed its first customers on 30 June and occupies the former BrewDog location at Scotland’s busiest hub.

Forth & Main offers an all-day food & beverage proposition combining American diner favourites with Scottish-inspired dishes, alongside coffee, cocktails and a full bar service.

The concept has been created by TRGC as part of its strategy to develop proprietary hospitality brands tailored to individual airport locations.

The name combines a reference to Scotland’s Firth of Forth with the traditional American Main Street, reflecting the concept’s Scottish-American positioning.

The restaurant’s interior design draws on vintage Americana alongside Edinburgh-inspired elements, with bespoke artwork created exclusively for the venue.

TRGC CEO Jonathan Knight said: “After a fantastic run with BrewDog, we saw an opportunity to create something completely new. Forth & Main is our take on the classic diner – inspired by Edinburgh, full of character and where vintage Americana meets modern Scotland.

“We wanted to build a place people would remember, not just somewhere to grab a quick bite before their flight. From the food and drinks to the interiors and artwork, every detail has been carefully considered to give the space its own personality.

“We can’t wait to welcome passengers through the doors and share Forth & Main with them.”

Edinburgh Airport Chief Commercial Officer Stephanie Wear commented, “Seeing a new brand join the airport is always exciting, and we know passengers will look forward to the range of food and drink on offer at Forth & Main.
