INDIA/INTERNATIONAL. This year’s Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) + Hospitality Conference & Awards in Bengaluru (7-8 July) was an unforgettable edition of the only global event dedicated entirely to airport dining and hospitality.
Organised by The Moodie Davitt Report and hosted in superb style by Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), FAB (which marked its 15th anniversary) featured highly acclaimed conference sessions, a breathtaking social programme and an emotional and unforgettable FAB Awards night.
This year’s FAB-ulous gathering will live long in the memories of all who attended.
Here, we are pleased to present a selection of reactions and video clips from event delegates and speakers, many shared on LinkedIn and via Instagram.

We hope they whet your appetite for FAB 2027 in Antalya, hosted by Fraport-TAV Antalya Airport (3-4 June). See our story about the 2027 partnership announcement here.

Mitti Café Founder & CEO Alina Alam (pictured above)
I spoke at the FAB Conference – the world’s largest gathering of aviation, airport retail and hospitality leaders. Sharing the journey of our colleagues with disabilities was one of the most emotional moments of my life.
When the room rose in a standing ovation, I was thinking about every person who had ever been told they weren’t enough. That moment belonged to them.

Thank you Martin Moodie and Hari Marar [Managing Director & CEO Bangalore International Airport Limited] for believing in Mitti Café long before many knew who we were, and for showing that business can be deeply compassionate.
That act of trust transformed our future, proving that inclusion and excellence thrive together.

For me this year’s FAB was very special, as I visited Bangalore for the first time in 2007. What a fantastic airport was built and also the T2 extension is one of the best airport terminals I know.
A great thanks to the airport management Hari Marar, Kenneth Guldbjerg, Pravat Paikray and many others. The combined vision with “walk the talk”.
Two inspiring days on 7 and 8 July, with industry leaders and hospitality professionals and the second night we enjoyed the Moodie Davitt FAB Awards to celebrate the very best in our industry.
Aside the many awards of Avolta for me a special congratulations to Kenneth Guldbjerg, Chief Commercial Officer, BIAL, for receiving the Outstanding Contribution to the Airport F&B Industry Award. So well deserved Kenneth!
