SOUTH KOREA. Shinsegae Duty Free and Medicube have partnered to showcase the Korean wellness beauty brand’s Forever Cherry Collection through a dedicated pop-up at the retailer’s Myeong-dong store, running until 30 November.
As K-beauty continues to evolve beyond skincare, haircare and beauty accessories are emerging as one of the fastest-growing categories, driven by consumers seeking complete beauty routines and collectible lifestyle items, Shinsegae Duty Free observed.
Industry data also points to strong momentum for haircare products both in South Korea and overseas, reflecting the growing global appeal of K-beauty beyond cosmetics, the retailer added.

Created in collaboration with Jang Won-young of hugely popular K-pop group IVE, the pop-up collection features the Ribbon Cherry Glass Hair Brush, available as a travel retail-exclusive.
The collection has proven popular among both Korean and international shoppers, Shinsegae Duty Free said.

Featuring ribbon and cherry-inspired design, the brush incorporates APR’s proprietary four-layer bristle technology and comes with a matching stand and protective cap, combining aesthetic appeal with practicality.

Designed in pink tones with ribbon and cherry motifs, the pop-up combines product displays with an interactive photo zone, creating an immersive brand experience for shoppers.
The Ribbon Cherry Glass Hair Brush is currently available at the Shinsegae Duty Free Myeong-dong pop-up and online store, with additional items from the Forever Cherry collection scheduled for phased release.

As reported, Shinsegae Duty Free opened a Medicube flagship store at its Myeong-dong location in April, further strengthening the K-Beauty offering within its 10th Floor K-Beauty Zone.
The permanent store followed a successful six-month pop-up trial.
The latest initiative supports the retailer’s strategy to expand its exclusive collaboration portfolio and enhance its K-beauty content and retail experience. ✈
