The partnership will give international and Korean travellers access to Beauty Point rewards and exclusive benefits when shopping Amorepacific products on Shinsegae Duty Free’s online platform. Brands covered by the programme include Sulwhasoo, Laneige, Hera, Aestura, Iope and Primera.

Advancing data-driven travel retail

The initiative marks a first for Korean travel retail, with Shinsegae Duty Free directly connecting its online platform to an external brand’s in-house loyalty ecosystem.

The model shifts the focus from short-term discounting to data-driven customer relationship management (CRM), with an emphasis on building long-term customer value.

The retailer said it plans to gradually expand direct membership partnerships with leading global and Korean brands. The strategy is designed to strengthen customer retention and encourage repeat visits by bringing targeted promotions, influencer campaigns, exclusive product offerings and loyalty rewards together.

A Shinsegae Duty Free spokesperson said: “This partnership with Amorepacific significantly strengthens our beauty competitiveness while establishing a new global standard in travel retail by organically connecting duty-free shopping with direct brand loyalty.
