Travel Blue is set to roll out a new generation of travel pillow at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, bringing 3D-printing technology to on-the-go comfort.
Described as ‘the world’s most technologically advanced travel pillow’, Airflow uses a 3D-printed structure to create a lightweight, breathable cushion designed for enhanced comfort and support.
The new travel pillow will be a key feature of the Travel Blue stand, with on-screen content and a live 3D printer offering visitors insight into its innovative production process.
The 3D-printed design replaces the soft cushioning found in traditional memory foam and inflatable travel pillows with a structural frame. Made from thermoplastic polyurethane, the frame forms a geometric lattice that flexes under pressure while providing a durable support.
The pillow features an open-matrix design that allows air flow from all sides, keeping it cool throughout use, while its 3D-printed structure prevents the head from dropping sideways or slumping forward – combining ergonomic support with the bounce of traditional cushioning.
Priced at RRP €69.90 (US$80), the new Airflow pillows are slim and lightweight, can be cleaned and sanitised quickly, and are available in a range of colours.
