Chloé explores neo-vintage gourmand territory with Le Nectar

Coty has expanded the Chloé fragrance portfolio with Le Nectar, a new feminine scent that combines floral, gourmand and woody notes. It is now available in global travel retail.

Created by perfumer Romain Almairac, Le Nectar is described as a ‘neo-vintage gourmand’.

The fragrance opens with bergamot top notes, followed by a floral nectar accord heart comprising neroli essential oil, orange blossom absolute and rose absolute. The base combines tonka absolute and amber accord with patchouli essence. Ambroxan, cashmeran and sandalwood add depth and create an enveloping trail.

Describing the fragrance, Almairac said: “I imagined a tempo of neroli and tonka, where the warmth of the patchouli essence meets modern light.”

Le Nectar reflects the free-spirited femininity that has shaped the Maison since its foundation by Gaby Aghion in 1952, Chloé said.

The fragrance is housed in Chloé’s signature pleated glass flacon, reimagined in a warm amber hue and finished with a golden ribbon. It is available in refillable 30ml, 50ml and 100ml formats.

The Le Nectar campaign stars Chinese model He Cong, with print imagery captured by American fashion photographer Zoë Ghertner and digital photography by Italian photographer Ilaria Orsini. The score was created by French artist Camille.
